Number-D Solo Exhitbion “Intersection Without Borders”
MH Gallery is pleased to present “Intersection Without Borders,” the first solo exhibition by Number-D, opening on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Number-D is an emerging artist who reinterprets New York–originated graffiti within the urban landscape of Tokyo. Consistently pushing beyond the “walls” of culture, convention, and fixed concepts, the artist explores intersections between different cultures and human emotions, carving voices into the city itself.
Regarding the act of drawing letters, Number-D describes it as “a coexistence of freedom and order—lines driven by impulse, colors shaped by structure—an act that elevates unheard intentions buried in everyday life into living proof.”
Drawing on extensive experience gained through collaborations with renowned domestic and international brands such as Pokémon, G-SHOCK, and TOYOTA, this exhibition at MH Gallery marks Number-D’s first solo show.
For this exhibition, Number-D stands at Ginza—an iconic urban intersection—once again crossing boundaries to present new beats born from the city’s noise and silence. These works, emerging from a “borderless intersection,” are introduced across five distinct sections.
Mayu Yukishita Solo Exhibition “FACE”
MH Gallery will hold Mayu Yukishita’s solo exhibition “FACE” starting Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
In recent years, Mayu Yukishita has continued to create works based on 3D models. This exhibition, positioned as a culmination of her practice in conjunction with the publication of her art book, marks a return to her origins with a series of paintings depicting her own face, photographed on film. The subtle distortions and fluctuations born during the film development process are incorporated into her work as motifs that evoke the passage of time and layers of memory.
Through this exhibition, viewers can witness Yukishita’s exploration of her own existence as a medium — tracing the “face” as an origin point that emerges between memory and the present, the real and the illusory.
YOSHIKA Solo Exhitbion Life form of Light
MH Gallery will host YOSHIKA’s first solo exhibition starting on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The theme of this exhibition is “Seeking the essence of truth in a modern society where the boundaries between virtual and reality are blurred.”
Artist YOSHIKA, living in an age where “real” and “digital” constantly intersect, deliberately focuses on ambiguity and uncertainty, making them the core concept of their works. In recent years, with the flood of fake news and the rapid advancement of AI technology, the authenticity of the information we consume has become increasingly unclear.
Against this backdrop, YOSHIKA’s work explores the fundamental question: “What exactly are the ‘facts’ and ‘truths’ that we believe in?” Through their art, YOSHIKA attempts to expose the uncertainties hidden within the digital world and the fragility of reality itself.
As a result, their works are characterized by digital expressions that intentionally remain “ambiguous.” Moreover, YOSHIKA’s art goes beyond digital aesthetics; it invites us to reexamine the psychological effects of our networked society — such as the anxiety of not being able to read others’ expressions, the dissonance between real and online worlds, and the rise of distrust among people.
